From Tires to Trust: The Kreager Story
Kreager Tire and Service began as a used tire shop run by David Kreager out of his home garage. In 1985, the business moved to its current location in Millersport, OH, where it continued to serve the community with integrity and care.
In 1996, Dan Thieken started working at the shop during his senior year of high school. He quickly stood out for his natural people skills and dedication to customer service. After stepping away for a few years to manage some larger shops, Dan returned—and David, recognizing Dan’s heart for the business and the community, offered him the opportunity to buy the shop.
By 2002, Dan officially became the owner, and within a year, the shop expanded into a full-service auto repair facility. What began as a small-town tire shop has since evolved into a trusted repair destination for drivers across Millersport and the surrounding areas.
One thing Dan hasn’t changed is the reputation David built for the shop while making the community happy. That is the shop’s main focus, and Dan takes pride in being the small-town shop with a large shop footprint.
